The Decan-Torre is an elegant, handcrafted decanting machine designed for pouring large wine or champagne bottles. Our Decan-Torre comes in 2 sizes.
- Decan-Torre Maximus 18 L, accommodating bottles ranging from 3.0 liters (double magnum) to 18.0 liters (Melchior).
- Decan-Torre Primus 6 L, suitable for bottles ranging from 1.5 L (magnum) to 6.0 L (Methuselah).
Due to its compact design and lightweight construction, the Decan-Torre Primus 6 L is perfect for use in gastronomy, catering, private kitchens, and especially on mega-yachts.
Handcrafted in the Allgaeu region of Germany, the patented device keeps the bottle at an inclined angle while the wine is poured directly into a glass or carafe without spilling a single precious drop. The special crank handle mechanism is designed to allow large, heavy wine bottles to be gradually tilted so they can be decanted and poured with precision and ease.

The Decan-Torre Cradle is an essential accessory for every wine enthusiast. Primarily used for long-lasting wines of a high quality, such as aged red wines, big bottles are heavy and difficult to pour from by hand. Wine sediment can also settle at the bottom of the bottle – a common occurrence in the finest vintage red wines and ports. Tilting the bottle keeps the sediment in the base, preventing it from reaching the neck. As they are exposed to less oxygen, wines in larger bottles age far more slowly and gracefully than in smaller bottles. This in turn allows them to develop more complexity and nuanced flavours – which is why they deserve to be served in style.
